There are chairs here and there for the customer who can't resist plopping down and thumbing through a book before purchasing. As someone else mentioned in there review, the shop has a nice homey feel.
This quaint little shop has extremely friendly staff and the food is absolutely amazing!! Every ingredient was fresh and delicious! I got carved turkey, avocado,tomato and lettuce on marble rye bread with a morning muffin. I highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat during your lunch break or anytime!!
This store if full of wonderful books and other things and a wonderful cafe there in the bookstore!
I cannot comment on the cafe personally, but I hear that it's pretty good!
The sandwich was amazing...but weird that they had no side dishes!
I try to come by every time I visit home! While the bookstore is sadly not as large as it used to be when it was on the other side of Lorden's, the selection is well-curated and I always find something interesting to buy. I love that they have a used book section full of inexpensive buys if my budget is a little tighter. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and can help with recommendations if needed.
